The HR talents of tomorrow: Our first Umantis HR Student Award 2024 ceremony
On November 27, 2024, the time had come: We presented the Umantis HR Student Award for the first time and honored the best HR IT theses in the DACH region. We handed over a total prize money of CHF 20,000. In a festive setting, the best finalists competed against each other at the Hotel Einstein in St. Gallen and made the final of the Umantis HR Student Award an unforgettable evening.
We would like to thank all participants and visitors. Your commitment made this evening something very special. A big thank you also goes to our jury, who supported the Umantis HR Student Award with their expertise and fairness.

We are particularly pleased to announce the winner of the Umantis HR Student Award 2024: Isabelle Kunert with the topic: Accessibility of career websites. Congratulations on this outstanding achievement! The work not only impressed the jury, but also opened the doors to exciting career opportunities. We wish you continued success in the HR world and thank you for your exciting industry knowledge.
However, the evening was not only dedicated to the award ceremony. After the final presentation and the announcement of the 1st to 5th places, we were able to round off the evening with a festive 3-course meal.
Later, the after-show party took place with good music and stimulating conversations - a great opportunity for participants to network with HR experts and other talents.
With the Umantis HR Student Award, we want to offer young talents the opportunity to present their ideas and theses to a broad public and to further deepen their knowledge in the HR industry. It was an honor for us to be part of this special event.
