The Umantis HR Student Award will honor the best and most innovative theses in the field of HR and HR IT in the DACH market for the first time in 2024. The aim is to support and promote the next generation of HR professionals and young talents.

Application deadline and award.
From May 16 to August 18, 2024, students conducting research at universities and colleges in Austria, Germany, Switzerland and Liechtenstein can submit their theses in the fields of HR and HR IT. The motto of the award is: "Convince us! Does your HR thesis stand up to our jury?" Umantis will award the 5 best theses with a total prize money of CHF 20,000*. In addition to the total prize money, there is also CHF 20,000** in research money for the professor of the winner or their university.
Evaluation and award ceremony.
An initial pre-selection of the top 25 theses will be made by an internal jury by September 20, 2024. The top 25 will then be invited to St. Gallen in October to present their work to a top-class business jury. The ranking of the top 6-25 will be announced at the glamorous final show on November 27, 2024. The top 5 will then pitch again in front of the final jury and the audience before the award ceremony takes place. CHF 20,000* in total prize money awaits the 5 lucky winners.
